I painted this on an unseasonably cold day there was frost when I arrived but the sun came around and warmed things a bit and hit the building with slashes of light. The changes in the grass always fascinate me, so many colors through the different greens.

Bio
<p>Susan has studied art at Villanova University and local art centers since 1999. She is drawn predominantly to representational painting in oil, watercolor and pastel, primarily painting landscapes which capture light, color and feelings. Susan has had several large solo shows at Thomas Moser Gallery, Waverly Heights, Jenkins Arboretum and Villanova University. Several commissions resulted from these shows, including a commission to paint Irish landscapes for a restaurant in Philadelphia. She has garnered awards at the Plein Air Brandywine Valley show and at shows with the Delaware Valley Art League (DVAL). Susan is a current member of ARTsisters, DVAL and the Haverford Guild of Craftsmen.<br></p>
