<p>Diane served as the President of the Studio Group, the entity which owns and maintains the Howard Pyle Studio in Wilmington, Delaware, where she studies, paints and exhibits her work. Inspiration for her work is drawn from children, her travels, the Brandywine Valley region and the Brandywine River Museum. Diane received the W. Emerton Heitland Memorial Award for her painting,&nbsp;<em>Five Ibis</em>, in the Philadelphia Water Color Society’s (PWCS) 110th International Exhibition in 2010.&nbsp;<em>Five Ibis</em>&nbsp;was selected for inclusion in Splash 13, the Best of Watercolor, released for publication in August 2012. Diane was awarded the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society's award at the Mid-Atlantic Regional, sponsored by BWS in June, 2019. This past November she received PWCS' award for composition in their 120th International Exhibition of Works on Paper.</p>
