Bio
<p>Elaine received her bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and post-graduate studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. She is an oil painter whose work emphasizes the immediacy of the moment. Her paintings often feature architectural points, figures and reflections with vibrant color and contrast to emphasize the emotional context of the subject. She has won a number of regional and national awards, most recently receiving First Place at the Philadelphia Sketch Club small oils exhibit and the 2016 Jenkins Celebration of Color. She has exhibited widely on the East Coast and her works are owned by numerous corporate, public and private entities around the globe. Elaine is represented by Gross McCleaf Gallery in Philadelphia and Les Poissons Gallery in Maryland. She was featured in <em>Fine Art Connaisseur Magazine</em> in 2019, <em>American Art Collector</em> magazine in 2016 and <em>International Artist</em> magazine in 2014. Elaine is on the faculty at the Main Line and Wayne Art Centers and has led painting workshops in Philadelphia as well as in Southern France.<br></p>
