An Academy of Notre Dame alumna and past parent, Susan has been a working artist for more than 20 years. She studied Fine Arts and English Literature, graduating with a BA from St. Joseph’s University followed by post-graduate study at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Susan’s flair for seeing the usual in unusual ways and her love of fine arts enhanced her career in computer graphics, logo design and illustration. This flair and passion are further evidenced in her work as an art teacher, a commissioned artist and 5-time award winner at the Philadelphia Flower Show for artistic jewelry design. Her oil paintings span a range between extreme detail and whimsy, with a special focus on how light turns everyday images into emotional vistas. Susan’s work has been exhibited at the Pennsylvania State Museum as well as in numerous invitational and juried shows in Philadelphia and New York. She is represented by Philadelphia’s F.A.N. Gallery. She is signature member of the Hudson Valley Art Association and a member of the Philadelphia Sketch Club, the Philadelphia POST and American Women Artists. Susan is also on the Board of Directors of and an instructor at the Wallingford Community Arts Center.
