This piece was created from a thick slab made with clay dug in Delaware County. I never know what the end piece will look like. The shape it takes in my hands and the final graceful form that was revealed through carving is the earth's story, what it asked to be. The long smooth lines of this piece invite touch, ask to be caressed. So please do. For display or for serving. Food safe
