Jeanne holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Moore College of Art & Design. Following graduation, she pursued a career in graphic design and marketing. While she primarily used design software to facilitate her work, she always kept paper and pencil nearby to draw quick thumbnail sketches when exploring concepts. Jeanne’s ability to sketch and compose designs quickly provided her with the foundation necessary for her transition to and current passion for plein air rural and urban landscape painting in pastels and oils. She uses bold colors and strong compositions to portray a sense of time and place in her award-winning artwork. Jeanne is a member and serves on the board of the Delaware Valley Art League and has shown her work in numerous juried and invitational plein air exhibitions throughout the area.
