Bio
Tim, a fourth generation artist, is a graduate of Temple University’s Tyler School of Art. Following a family tradition, he studied in Rome, Italy where he focused on creating and exhibiting his own landscape paintings. Currently, Tim works exclusively in pastels which allow him to capture the temporary nature of light which is a central theme in his painting. He feels that sky, water, surfaces and mist are especially wonderful means for conveying a moment in time. Tim is an alumnus of the Creative Artists Network and a former board member of the Philadelphia Water Color Society. His work has appeared at The American College, Moore College of Art & Design, the Maryland Institute of Art, the Philadelphia Sketch Club and Saratoga Springs, New York. He annually participates in the art shows held at Historic Yellow Springs, the Devon Horse Show . Tim has won numerous awards for his works and has had several one-man shows in the tri-state area.
