Born and raised in Hungary, Eva is a self-taught artist who began to paint in her mid 30s. As she began, she poured over art books and took workshops from several prominent locally and nationally known artists. Eva paints portraits, still lifes, landscapes, and cityscapes using oils and watercolors. Every piece gives her a unique challenge and fulfillment and she especially enjoys the interplay of light and shadows. Eva has participated in many juried shows including the Phillips’ Mill Art Exhibition, the Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show and the New Hope Outdoor Juried Arts and Crafts Festival. Her paintings can be found at Temple University in Philadelphia, Biblical Theological Seminary in Hatfield, PA and Harleysville Insurance in Harleysville, PA, and in many private collections. Her work has garnered numerous awards from various venues in the region. Eva is a member of many local art associations.
