Bio
A Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, resident for more than 30 years, now living in Center City Philadelphia, Brad continues his lifelong career as an architect. A self-taught artist, he began painting in 1994, using slices of Americana as his subjects—urban street scenes, faded amusement parks, iconic building facades and old movie theater facades. Streetscapes, whose character changes with the colors of the seasonal light and shadows, continue to capture his imagination. He has also painted a series called “Big Stuff, Little People” in which he depicts everyday objects such as antique typewriters and steam locomotives at a monumental scale, populating the scene with Lilliputian figures. Brad participates in numerous juried regional art shows and his work can be found in private collections throughout the United States and in London.
