Kathleen is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island. After spending many years as a graphic designer, an art director for a Washington retailer and an art teacher, she decided to devote herself to the fine arts, specifically working en plein air. Working in both oils and pastels, Kathleen has produced works that explore the play of light and dark while conveying a sense of place and atmosphere inspired by the landscapes and scenes of the New Jersey Shore, New York City and Washington, DC. Her work has garnered numerous awards and has been shown at a variety of exhibitions in Maryland and New Jersey.
