Jas is a life-long resident of Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Hussian School of Art and Arcadia University where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and where he served as an adjunct professor for several years. For over 35 years Jas has exhibited his work in regional galleries and has participated in countless juried shows and competitions on the regional, national and international level. He has won numerous awards for his paintings both in oil and watercolor and has been featured in area newspapers and magazines. Current series of paintings include Bucks, Montgomery and Chester Counties in Pennsylvania, Hunterdon County in New Jersey, and Coastal New Jersey and South Carolina. Jas has received commissions for his work from private and corporate clients. He is a committee member for the Bucks County Traditional Artists Show, an annual art show that helps raise funds for nonprofit organizations. Jas is also a board member and painting instructor at the Conservatory in Doylestown.
