Katya received her Master of Fine Arts degree from the Stieglitz St. Petersburg State Academy of Art and Industry where she concentrated on classical painting, drawing and decorative textiles. She is also a Professional Program graduate and instructor of painting and drawing at Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia. She maintains studios in Philadelphia and in St. Petersburg. Katya is an accomplished realist artist who paints a variety of subjects, including portraits and figures, city scenes and rural landscapes, and still life and floral compositions. Her work has been exhibited in many well-known galleries and museums including Artworks at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Stieglitz Museum and Central Exhibition Hall in St. Petersburg, the National Arts Club in New York, Galleries Maurice Sternberg in Chicago, Newman Galleries in Philadelphia and many others. Her paintings are in numerous private and corporate collections worldwide.
