Marcia holds a BA in Graphic Design from American University and an MS in Fashion Design from Drexel University. She is a juried member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen and is a Lead Member of the Raku Guild at the Main Line Art Center. Marcia has been working in clay for over 18 years and has specialized in Raku for 16 years. Her pottery designs have been inspired by Native American pottery, Russian architecture, a variety of fabric patterns and the periods of Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Mission. Marcia’s pottery has been exhibited and sold in many fine craft shows up and down the East Coast and is available at the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen Shop in Lancaster, PA and at the American Artisan Gallery in Carlisle, PA. Her work can be seen in 500 Tiles by Lark Books and 500 Raku by Lark Books.
